Right since our inception, Prakiti Ice Cream has been delivering moments of joy through innovation and affordability. Prakiti Ice Cream is owned by SERUM Electrogreen Pvt. Ltd., a venture of SERUM Group, a name synonymous with quality and reliability, and offers a diverse range of Ice Creams with innumerable flavours and categories that satisfy every craving.

Prakiti Ice Cream started as a local favourite a decade ago, but today Prakiti Ice Cream is more than an ice cream brand; its natural flavours are now spreading across the country. From city corners to unexpected places, our scoops are delighting taste buds far and wide.

We at Prakiti Ice Cream believe that Ice Cream is always better with everyone, and hence we bring you pure, flavourful indulgence with a natural touch. From global favourites like Vanilla & Chocolate to local delights like Mango, Jal Zeera and Nolen Gur, every scoop is crafted with real ingredients and natural taste. Started with over 15 flavours, Prakiti Ice Cream has over 30 options, of which 20 are offered throughout the year. The set of flavours changes according to the seasons. A nolen gur flavour is also purveyed by the brand. No matter where you are, Prakriti Ice Cream offers the same unmatched quality and unique variety in every scoop.

We also aim to be an arms-wide-open brand for everyone, so we price our products in such a way, one should ever feel like they don’t belong here.

The Man behind the entire Mission

Sri Sanjib Acharya, the Founder & Chairman of the Serum Group, is a force to be reckoned with. Over the years, the quinquagenarian leader, with his innovative approach, has masterfully transformed his company from a single pathology centre into a premier healthcare provider. Sri Sanjib Acharya’s journey from a small laboratory to leading one of India’s largest diagnostic networks is an inspiring tale of vision, relentless pursuit of excellence, dedication to innovation, and community well-being.

Over the decades, SERUM Group has carved a niche for itself and is the recipient of International Awards like Bhartiya Mahantam Vikas Puraskar and World Sustainability Commitment Award, 2024, for the uninterrupted commitment towards Diagnostic Services in India by Asia One Magazine in London. Sri Acharya received many prestigious awards, viz., ABP Ananda Swasthya Samman 2023 as the Iconic Diagnostic & Referral Path Lab in Eastern India, AsiaOne Award as the World’s Greatest Brand 2015-16 (India Chapter) in the arena of Referral Diagnostic Laboratory. Sri Acharya is also the awardee of AsiaOne as the World’s Greatest Leader 2015-16 (India Chapter) in the World’s Greatest Brands & Leadership Summit, 2016 in UAE.

Sri Sanjib Acharya is a multifaceted leader. He has also been serving as the editor of Sumadhyama and SERUM Times for over a decade. He is an Executive Committee member of the East Bengal Club and an active Rotarian involved in various social service organizations. Additionally, he is the Founder President-Trustee of Jibanpur Vanaprastha Village Trust, an old-age home in Barrackpore. He relentlessly supports elderly care and also runs a charitable medical unit providing medical facilities and services to adjacent villages.

Sri Acharya is the founder secretary of Serum Thalassemia Prevention Federation (STPF), a dedicated NGO focused on preventing and eradicating Thalassemia and AIDS, and offers essential, life-saving medications to affected Thalassemics at no cost. STPF has expanded its mission to include the education and support of specially-abled children by opening a specialized school, “VARSHA” for children affected with Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Autism, etc. This school aims to provide an inclusive and nurturing environment, ensuring that every student, regardless of their abilities, has access to quality education and the opportunity to thrive. Being a philanthropist, Sri Sanjib Acharya understands the importance of preschool in the overall personality development of children. So, he started Little Hut in 2016, where the kids are exposed to several new learning concepts that will influence their growing years positively.

His love for animals made him open a comprehensive animal diagnostics and surgical services, Pet Treat. Located in Garia, specializing in checkups & diagnosis, Pet Clinic offers a friendly environment with specialized Doctors and highly skilled vet technicians, who are dedicated to providing superior care to pets.

He also owned two hotels in the Himalayan Hills, Rosedell Inn in Gangtok & Rishop, which offer the perfect place for relaxation, comfort, and luxury. The location of the hotel will surely mesmerize the guests with serenity and a 180-degree view of Kanchenjunga.

Prakriti Ice Cream began with a simple idea — to serve pure, flavourful ice cream made from natural ingredients. Started locally with fresh milk from a nearby dairy, we’ve grown into a beloved brand known for the unique flavours and uncompromising quality. From our first scoop, our passion for real taste guides everything we do. Milky Way to everyone’s Heart is our sole motto, and we are on a mission to be the favourite ice cream of all the ice cream lovers in our country, and beyond!
